Vardhaman Knowledge Foundation is a non-profit, non-proprietary, private, educational organization. Swarnleela International School is the first pearl of Vardhaman Knowledge Foundation. It became the most preferred educational institution (School) in the Black diamond city of Wani for more than half a decade.

Due to the introduction of innovative and modern curricula, insistence on academic discipline, imparting of Holistic Education and emphasizing on all round development of the personality of children inclusive of co-scholastic area, a team of creative and dedicated staff, the school has been progressing as a co-educational school with classes from nursery to XII.

About the school Project

The purposed project intends to create an immovable property in form of land and building for renting out to already well established CBSE Senior Secondary namely Swarnleela International School managed by Vardhaman Knowledge Foundation society registered under Societies Registration Act 1869.

About the Promoters

The Swarnleela International School project was a brain child of Mr Krishan D. Jain and Mr Naresh D. Jain, coveted business personalities of Chandrapur. Being already into business of Coal since 30 years Jain brothers intends to diversify into real estate development.

Genesis of Project

The Genesis of Project lies in sound feasibility of well established CBSE school with quality infrastructure. Wani being one of the fastest growing city around Chandrapur is housing biggest Mining Industry i.e. Western Coalfields Limited. Since education being on high priority for every conscious parents the need for a school for grooming quality students is the need of the hour. Moreover the increase in per capita income as a result of booming economy has made quality education affordable for most of the parents. The reason parents have to look for better education avenues in city of Nagpur, Pune, Hyderabad etc. As such there is immense potential for providing quality education of Wani and adjoining places and hence a need for reputed education institute.

Swarnleela International School (SIS)

Affiliated to the Central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, Swarnleela International School was established on February 8th, 2007 with the motto Truth, Trust and Triumph as the first pearl of Vardhaman Knowledge Foundation. It became the most preferred educational institution (School) in the Black diamond city of Wani for more than half a decade. It has been scaling greater heights consistently since 2010. Due to the introduction of innovative and modern curricula, insistence on academic discipline, imparting of Holistic Education and emphasizing on all round development of the personality of children inclusive of co-scholastic area, a team of creative and dedicated staff, the school has been progressing as a co-educational school with classes from nursery to XII. The impressive school building of ours comprises well-furnished class rooms with audio-visual facilities, laboratories, language lab, vast playground, etc. The great efforts manifested in the results of 2010-11, in which Shubham R. Yarnamwar topped with 94% in aggregate while the school notched up hundred percent results and followed it up in 2011-12 with Yashashree R. Dungrwal scoring 97%. And the best was yet to come. SIS made history the following year, rididng a spectacular performance by Yashwant S Matey who grabbed the second position in the Vidharva region of Maharashtra by scoring 99% in CBSE class X board examinations. The school is also proud to get affliated to the Central Board of Senior Secondary School Certificate due to the enormous efforts of the management and the staff. The unique student centric scholastic and co-scholastic activities endeavor to attain the seven needs essential like integrated value system, leadership, empowerment, ability to make own decision, maximize intelligence potential, balance between creativity and skills, and self-imposed discipline. The Role of Technology

The school is equally technologically empowered right from teaching standards to parent follow-up as it maintains the best position in and around the areas. We make full use of technology, social media and other electronic communication tools for easier access of student feedback to parents. For this, we have setup Quick School ERP Software with unique login credentials issued to parents to review their ward’s performance (report cards, periodic tests, attendance, health records etc.). Additionally, we have setup SMS alerts to communicate the parents about day to day updates in the school.

Digi-School

The entire learning experience at Swarnleela International School is blended with visuals from reputed NIIT. These illustrations are displayed in our classrooms as and when required. We have ensured that maximum classrooms are fitted with multimedia computers. We have got interactive whiteboards or ‘smart boards i.e NIIT’. The classroom is fitted with a smart board, which is connected to an overhead projector and the classroom computer. These boards are used along with educational software to help make teaching and learning an effectual, interactive and fun process.

Computer Labs

The school is equipped with two computer labs with ample PCs for students to use as part of their curriculum. The School has modern PCs guided by a trained teacher to teach children the power of computers and software that can be harnessed for education. Apart from doing regular class-work the children can use the PCs to do their project work. All the PCs are connected to the internet through firewalls to ensure that children access only child friendly websites and content.

Medical Camp

At SIS, we run a basic infirmary in our campuses to deal with first aid and pre-advised conditions.

Every year the school arranged Medical Checkup for the students.

Co curricular Activities

Physical activity like sports and games are fast disappearing from our children's schedule due to the overpowering of computers and video games. Insufficient outdoor space, inadequate times for parents, disorganized diet can all further lead to a physically inactive kid. We understand this better than any other campus. During the School hours from 08:00 a.m.to 2.30 pm. apart from intensive Classroom learning, students also get plenty of opportunities to myriad activities such as GK activity, Science activity, Puzzle solving, Debate, Creative activity, Life skill development, Music, Dance, Creative Arts, Hobby Development, , Personality Development, Gardening, Making, Flower Arrangement, Vegetable Carving, Stitching etc.

Biology Lab

A properly equipped Biology lab with sophisticated microscopes and models of rare species as well as all common specimens of plants and animals gives a chance to the students to study with the assistance of demos and practically performed dissections.

Physics Lab

The Physics lab has all the updated equipment and apparatus and all experiments in the curriculum can be performed under the guidance of their concerned teachers and lab assistant.

Chemistry Lab

A fully equipped chemistry lab ensures that every student gets a chance to personally perform all the prescribed experiments and the study of science subject becomes gripping and dynamic.

Language Lab

The language lab has been fitted up with the latest state- of-the- art equipment for effective English Language teaching using listening and speaking skills. Spoken English and ASL (Assessment of Speaking and Listening) classes are regularly conducted in the language lab as per the CBSE Directive.

Conference Room

Library is very well-stocked with over 5,000 titles and space for children to browse and select their books. An experienced librarian with advanced library software will help children locate the relevant books.

Class rooms

Class rooms are well ventilated and have ample natural light and air. They provide comfortable seating for 35 students. They have good display areas for displaying students project work etc. Each class room also has storage (cubby holes) for students to keep their books as they are only allowed to take books home as per schedule.

Dance & Music Room

Dance & Music are integral to the curriculum developed by the school. A trained teacher guides the children through the nuances of dance and music. The place is well-furnished with keyboards, drums, harmonica, guitars and state of the art music system. Teachers can download the music when required and play it to the students using the PC in the dance room.

Art & Craft Room

Art & Craft lets loose the imagination of the children and provides a medium for their expression. A trained art teacher supported by well sourced and quality supplies ensures that there are no bounds to the child’s creativity. A bright, airy and inspiring room, which allows students to explore a variety of media ranging from fine art, painting, drawing and craft to give expression to their creativity and imagination.

Sports Facilities

The School has good sports facilities, which include basketball courts, a volleyball court, badminton facilities and a multipurpose ground. Opportunities for team games and physical training are facilitated by trained physical instructors and yoga teachers. Students practice yoga and pursue sports like cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, throwball, kho kho, kabaddi and athletics. They also enjoy board games like carrom and chess. The annual sports meet is held to celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship.

Library

Staff Room

Staff Room is functional in nature with a locker for each teacher so that she/he can put together her lessons and develop the content required for the classes ahead. Each teacher stays back after the school is over to prepare for classes the next day.

Transport Facility

We have our efficient and well-organized in-house transport system. A matron accompanies children in every trip. She is trained regularly to handle every contingency and ensures the safety of all children under her care. Efficiently mapped-out bus routes ensure that children spend the least amount of time travelling to and from school. Every buses are undertaken as per the guidelines and norms of The Supreme Court of India and Regional Transport Office Maharashtra Transportation. Every bus is equipped with fire extinguishers & first aid medical kit with speed governor.
